Massachusetts Property Map

This map was created by joining individual tax parcel shapefiles for the 350+ cities and towns in Massachusetts, avalible from MassGIS.
The data was filtered to include only residential parcels, which were converted to points, and tiled for web mapping display using Esri ArcGIS Online.
The final map contains nearly 2.5 million individual data points, rendered in color by corresponding assessed property value.
The results of the project were featured by MassGIS and Boston.com
